Founded on June 19, 2022 to provide quality care for the elderly aged 60 years and over in Nigeria.

We help elderly people in the community affected by physical, mental, and social well-being when ageing crop up. We are an independent, neutral, non-governmental organization whose mandate is essentially derived from the agape love of the elderly.

MISSION
To provide succor for elderly people and help to the neglected, abandoned and less privileged elderly and improve the quality of life of the older people.

VISION
To ensure the happiness of the elderly.

EMMANUEL ALOGI HOME FOR THE AGED helps provide the physical, social and emotional needs of the elderly. Some of the activities of Emmanuel Alogi Home for the Aged include:
1. FEED A NEEDY SENIOR (FANS):
Every month, selected needy senior citizens are given a food box (or boxes) containing various food stuffs each. Some of the food stuffs include rice, bean, semovita, palm oil, groundnut oil etc. This is aimed to sustain their existence and improve their standard of living…promoting a better life. This project started in December 2022 and we have been able to share over 334 Senior Citizens Food Boxes.

2. SENIOR CITIZENS MEDICARE:
Health is wealth. To promote longer life for the elderly, we organize monthly medical outreaches with the help of medical professionals and medical equipment to provide a healthy physical and mental care for the senior citizen.

It is 100% free and it presently takes place at AGSCO EVENT CENTRE, Fajol, Abeokuta on every first Wednesday of the month. We take care of routine check-ups such as BP, Blood Glucose level, Temperature, Counseling, massage, professional attention and other routine checkups. This project started in July 2023 and we have been able to attend to 90 different seniors.

3. CAMPAIGNS, OUTREACHES, TRAINING AND SEMINARS:
We organize training, workshops, seminars etc, on regular basis to teach, educate and sensitize the elderly people on various issues and ailments affecting them. This product service preventive and curative purposes and it is highly information oriented. It also focuses on training youths on care for older persons in Nigeria. This gave birth to a radio program tagged ELDERS’ CONNECT on WISE 87.9FM radio aired every Sunday between 1pm – 2pm. We also have a WhatsApp community where we daily educate the seniors on how to have a better and longer life.

We plan to have a place to house homeless seniors and those who want a better care.
